School Trips

The B&J Travel luxury fleet is very suitable for school and college trips, whatever the distance. Theme parks, field trips, museums, activity centres, we have done them all. Check our places to visit page for some ideas. We have years of experience providing schools and colleges with safe, comfortable and trouble free transport. We have even done the the occasional international trip.

For safety, and to conform to current regulations, our coaches are fitted with seat belts which must be worn.

Double decker yellow school bus

School contracts - daily transport to and from school

B&J Travel Ltd currently have a number of contracts with Lancashire County Council providing home to school transport. For local routes, we use our double decker yellow school bus and one of our larger coaches.

The September 2006 regulations regarding children's booster seats does not apply to vehicles with over 16 seats. As all our vehicles have over 16 seats, this new 2006 rule does not apply to any of our vehicles. The double decker bus is exempt from the seat belt requirement.
